Yarn held double.

I love this yarn. It has plenty of crunch, without compromising on softness. It is possible that Shetland are the perfect sheep.

Love this. Such a simple, elegantly written pattern.

Mods:
I initially knit the 40” size, but having tried it once split for sleeves, I decided it was too big. So I ripped back to a total of 17 increases and knit until I reached 8”, split for the sleeves and carried on as in pattern. This gave me a chest of 39”, so a little ease for my 38” bust.

I knit the body to 14½“ from the armhole.

I really like the pockets, but I decided that, given the size of my tummy, putting them there was asking for trouble.
