After dividing for the fronts and the back, I knit the Left front until the desired length then I loosely bound off the 11 stitches. I knit the back until the row count equaled the same as the Left front. I knit across the top of the back until the last 11 stitches. I removed the bind off from the stitches at the top of the Left front stitches and knit the Left shoulder seam using the Three Needle Bind Off.

Picked up 52 stitches around the armscye and knit in the round with 2 circs. Knit 60 rows garter stitch then started decreases. Decreased 2 sts on knit row every 4th row for 7 decreases total. Continued garter st sleeve for 80 rows or 40 garter ridges. Bound off loosely.

For the inside tie I used a simple crochet chain, which is less bulky than I-cord. Backing buttons also used to secure the round buttons.
