I loved how the coloring came out with this pattern. Grandpa Ararat was impressed enough to take my current profile picture.

I have it washed and ready to present to him for delivery to his grandson. Pictures are posted of the finished blanket.

I should have mentioned previously that I had to buy two more skeins of yarn to finish this blanket. By the time I hit the edging, I couldn’t go the full 5 rounds. Since it is for a boy, I decided to stop with the scallop edging and stay with the straight fill-in double crochet.
