I wanted to make a close fitting cowl using DK.
I used 3.5 pattern repeats, which meant a little bit of tweaking on the final half repeat but not much.

Started with 4.5 mm needles and did 5 rows garter stitch. Switched to 4mm after 5 more rows. Then to 3.75mm after about 30 rows.
Didn’t work full design.

One row garter stitch, then worked double rib on 3.75mm for about 3/4 of length of body.

The rib will be folded down inside.
It will fit snuggly up to my chin and the bottom will rest on my collarbone.
