Well I managed to finish with just one ball of each colour - sort of!

I worked 5 “stripes “ in duck egg, with half a daisy stripe at each end.
Then I went all round with one row of half trebles in white, topped with one row of double crochet, again in white. I ran out 7 or 8 stitches short!
Then I switched to a 4mm hook and did a row of silver trebles - I had a tiny bit left but probably not enough even for a row of double crochet !
I then did 2 rows of trebles in duck egg but again ran out…. I tried ripping those 2 rows out and reworking them with an even smaller hook but I was still 6 stitches short.
So I just did them in silver. There’s no point getting precious about it!!

Finished size 30” X 25” plus 1.5” border all round.
