Bought this as a kit from Kitterly.
I have a love hate relationship with this yarn. It’s beautiful to look at, but not easy to work with (especially on decreases). It is so soft, like knitting clouds, but the structure of the yarn means it’s always split. C’est la vie.
I read the description of the yarn before purchasing. It says it’s two strands loosely twisted. I took this to mean that the two strands were twisted with each other. They are not. Each individual strand is twisted, but they are not twisted together. They are side by side. So knitting things like K2Tog or SSK is easy to miss one of the two very fine strands.
Unfortunate I’ve purchased a good number (7 or 8) Art Yarns kits, and each one I work on I have the same issue. Also, there are numerous errors in the patterns. I marked some of them, but not all. For the $$ of the kit I expected no errors, so the first few I came across I thought it was my goof. But now that I’m on my 3rd pattern from Art Yarns (purchased from different places) I’m finding many more errors. So if something doesn’t match up, don’t start frogging. Consider it may not be you.

The shawl is beautiful. I can’t recall knitting anything asymmetric before. I love the way the wedges just flow back and forth. The colors together are fabulous. Overall this is a win.

Going to reach out to artyarns. I’ve checked all skeins of ensemble light and the only link on the label is to their Facebook group and generic artyarns.com. There is supposed to be a link to their pattern book, to get for free with the purchase I’ve made. Without the link I have to pay $30 for the ebook. The patterns are beautiful. The website still says it’s free with the link, but no link on any of my labels.
The last 3 pics are a current screenshot from their page (so the offer hasn’t expired, it’s still current). And pics of my labels.

Super quick response from designer. This kit used 2 - 1/2 skeins of ensemble light, not 1 skein of ensemble light. So isn’t the yarn in the ebook offer.
Going shopping for the ebook now.
I see several patterns I’ll be making from it.
