Want to keep practicing my stranded knitting, so…..

Arrrgh. Had to rip out the chart I was using because it just wasn’t coming out right when I reversed the colors. So, will use the Kindle chart, same as before, except I forgot to add the CC line first. Oh well…… not ripping out again!

Finished 1st “ring” at lunch. Running calculations to see what I can work in next….

Will be doing rows 4-11 of the Leg Chart of General Hogbuffer’s Woodruff. Can work chart 3X.

So, it’s finished. I tried magic loop after the number of stitches were too small for 16-inch circs. It both worked and didn’t work. My gauge got SO tight! Kind of ruins the sloping lines of the hat. Also, I see the value in adding some plain lines (stripes) in between all the lovely busyness of the fairisle. Although I don’t HATE it, it IS a bit busy looking and I’m not too sure the rounded heart-like shapes of the narrow pattern works very well with the diagonal snow-flakey designs. Also, still have a bit of tension issues, but it is steadily improving. So, lots to think about for, yes, another Fandangle… Not right away, but soon. Ish. Heh!

It’s soaking in a warm Kookaburra bath right now. Will rinse and lay flat to dry. Photos tomorrow, perhaps. It takes a little while for the alpaca to fully dry.
