Everyone else was doing it…

So I wondered “could I make that in miniature?” Turns out I could!

Obviously I had to rework all the math and counts, and I changed the chicken’s shape a little bit along the way. (Her head is more upright, the curve of her back more pronounced, she’s sitting tall and pretty).

Can’t stop making these!

The medium white one is made in fine cotton thread on size 0.8mm needles. The small one is on 0.6mm needles. The larger rainbow one is Caron “Wildflowers” thread on 0.8mm needles.

A few people have requested the “shrunken” notes, so I’m adding them here:

Emotional support chicken, miniature version

These notes presume a familiarity with the “emotional support chicken” pattern by Annette Corsino and are meant as an addendum to her fabulous pattern, specifically for miniature knitters, and are not a replacement for her instructions.
