This scarf is really getting beaten up just from wearing it. The yarn isn’t spun very tightly just from the nature of the silk, and it’s coming apart and fraying a lot. I think if I were to do this again, I’d make it in a tighter stitch pattern so it would hold it together better. I had picked the long dropped yarn-over pattern to show off the yarn, but now it’s starting to look a bit ratty after a year or so of pretty gentle and only intermittent wearings.
