The dart is worked with a 2.25 mm steel hook out of 3-ply cotton reclaimed from a sweater. There’s probably room for 2 darts in there, but I was disinclined to make another one because it was so very fiddly.

Eyes are felt. Eyebrows, nose and mouth embroidered in floss, otherwise the rest of the piece is worsted weight acrylic. I’m not thrilled with how the mouth and nose came out, but until I get more practice at embroidery I think that’s the best we can hope for. The tail is attached kinda high, maybe? Next version I’ll play around with doing a color change to make the inside of the ears white.
