Using up some variegated yarn which changes from pinks to mint greens. Beautiful change of colours and thought it would look interesting in this pattern.

A dk rather than an Aran, I will try crocheting in a 3mm needle and hope this will make the stitches close together. Will certainly be smaller than the original. Will give dimensions when finished.

I looked for an alternative to the eyes because I wanted something that looked like it was looking at me. I found a really good youtube clip for arigurumi eyes and they’ve worked out a treat. I love the little tail too!

Length when laid down 37cm or 14.5 inches approx.
Sat down the height is 24cm or 9.5 inches approx.
