I’m timing how long this takes me. It’s in the 4-6 hour category in the book but says bigger sizes might take longer.

It took about 8 hours for me. Where it increases near the collar, it’s shaped the fabric which I guess is meant to fit baby better.

The banding has no button holes and when I made the blue one first, I found that it worked ok but would have been much better with button holes so I added them on the white, moss stitched edging. About 6 rows after the increases to the left front, do a button hole (yarn forward, knit 2 together) on the band edge then 10 rows in between each one.
