I used some leftover DK yarn (the pattern asks for 4ply)for my very fist bootie project. Really pleased with the outcome though it’s bigger than intended I think they will fit a 6-8 month year old. I decided to add a bow and a crocheted button (magic circle, sc 6 and pull it to make the circle) and my 14 year old daughter made her very first knitted project by making a garter bow headband to go with it. I think it makes for a lovely set.
