Notes

New pattern for a toddler argyle vest….in Ohio State Buckeye colors!

I am expanding the pattern chart to include visual row references for decreases for under arms, the V-neck, and bind offs. In addition, I created a new bobbin guide chart which gives suggested bobbin amounts so each intarsia section may be worked with one continuous strand. (Fewer ends to work in!)

The DK weight of this 70% Tangius Cotton, 30% Linen knits up nicely and provides a not-too-heavy weight garment that will breath. The label states that it’s machine washable and dryable, but I think hand washing and drying would be advisable.

I like the CotLin yarn color palette of 30 shades - the Moroccan Red is particularly suitable for OSU colors - it’s deep, but not too dark.

I just realized that this vest is being made in the same year OSU won the first national college football playoff title…so it’s actually a Buckeye “commemorative” vest!
