Using mystery yarn from my stash. I think it is sport weight. I am a loose knitter so I dropped to a 4.5mm needle. I think I will end up making the larger size (12 month) for the newborn but haven’t decided yet…

I went up a size and I think it will fit a newborn. I added four rows of single crochet rather than the ribbing on the edge.

If this baby has red hair like we hope it will look outstanding!

Definitely going to make this again for my little girl.
