I was looking for a crib mobile pattern that I liked, but couldn’t settle on any, so I decided to improvise. I loved this floral pincushion pattern and thought it would be perfect for a DIY mobile. I simply left off the final step of crocheting a ring to wear the pincushion. I used the same yarn that I used to crochet other items in the nursery, so everything is color-coordinated :)

I wanted something different to hang in the middle of the mobile, and decided to use a VW bus applique I had laying around for over a year. I whipped up a back for it and stuffed it. Bought a crib mobile attachment on Amazon which plays music and spins, and it worked out really well!
