Having previously knitted Maid Marian by Sarah Wilson, I was keen to re-knit as a skirt with matching top ( I chose Love by Marie Wallin) by an amazing stroke of good fortune the resulting ensemble works really well and I’m looking forward to wearing it, once the cooler weather comes, which judging by our summer thus far won’t be to long a wait!

Skein Queens five-4-silver is a lovely yarn with a sparkly silver thread running throughout, it softens quite considerably once washed and blocked and is very comfortable to wear
