My second take on Ariane, inspired by curlyfro with stripes.

For the CC I took a nameless hand dyed cotton/linen blend.

My gauge: 20 x 30 sts = 10 x 10 cm
Original gauge: 21 x 36
Compensating for gauge difference by making two sizes smaller to get a snugly fit (no ease).

This gives a more dense fabric and will be a cardi as the original.

Mods

Stripes:
18 rows stone blue, 2 rows light blue.

Waist shaping - on the sides:
dec every 6th row 7 times (15 cm from armhole)
straight on (20 cm)
inc every 4th row 6 times
inc every 6th row 3 times (32 cm)

Edges:
Lower edge 8 rows of garter st, sleeves edges are 6 rows garter st and for the neckline 4 rows garter st. BO on WS

Button band:
Crocheted, 6 rows of dc. Nine buttonholes 2 st wide and 6 dc between.
