I like the raglan starting higher at the back than at the front, the pattern follows the body much better this way.

This tee used 154 g = 950 m of the variegated space-dyed yarn from Zitron and an equal amount of length of the solid navy cash/silk.

The sleeves are puffing a lot at the center, I feel like having wings… I am contemplating frogging this. For now home tee.

Progress:

I ended up in sewing the front center, so I have a tee and no cardigan. I was not so happy with the button band, it got a sloppy look and was going open between the buttons even after going down one needle size. It’s due to the yarn, a cash blend is smooth but has no memory as wool does.

After the short rows I used garter stitch to finish the lower edge. I did 8 rows of garter st and BO on WS.

Finish the sleeves:
I omitted the decreases at the armpit to get just a few more sts, did garter st (6 rows) on the edge and BO very loosely.

Shaping the body to get a fitted garment:
rows 1 - 42: dec every 6th row 7 times (15 cm from armhole)
rows 43 - 58: straight on (21 cm)
rows 59 - 100: inc every 4th row 3 times; inc every 6th row 5 times (31 cm)
rows 100 - 110: straight on (35 cm)

The yarns held together gave the gauge
21 x 26 = 10 x 10 cm
(original gauge 21 x 36).
