Lovely, rich pattern. Fun to make and fun to wear. Good size and thickness for a hat, I am looking forward to the cold weather.

A superwash smooth worsted weight yarn will show off the cabled pattern best. The hardest part was choosing yarn (I substitute).

CO with cabled cast-on.
I made the brim with ktbl2, p2.
