A quick knit for the Christmas gift pile. I adore this yarn - it is so nice to work with. The silk content gives the finished fabric a lovely drape and sheen and the wool content is so squishy.

The photos of the finished hat are before wet-blocking. After blocking, this yarn will have a bit more drape and the crown of the hat will be perfectly floppy.

As you can see, it looks great as a slouch and, with the ribbed brim flipped up, as a closer fitting “watch cap” style. And while it looks pretty good on me, it will be suitably manly when worn by The Husband.
