I had to have an ostomy bag so I decided to create a cover for it. I used washable cotton yarn, though if I had to make a moch 2, I would use a lighter weight washable yarn.

I made the cover to fit a pedes urostomy bag which measures 4.5” wide and 8.25” long. The opening is about 2.25” in diameter.

1. cast on 22 stitches using Judy’s magic cast on.

2. Knit one row

3. K1 m1l, knit to last stitch on the front needle. M1R, k1, turn work and repeat for the back needles stitches. (Increase by 4 stitches)

4. Repeat steps two and three 6 times until you have 46 stitches on your needles.

5. Knit stockinette to desired length before starting the stoma hole.
