Worsted weight, wool of the Andes. Using a provisional cast on, cast on 60 stitches in the round. Knit stockinette for 8cm. Pick up provisional cast on stitches to a spare needle and fold the work up so that the cast on stitches line up with the current stitches so that the right side of the work faces out. Put a hair tie in the fold then kitchen stitch the current stitches to the cast on stitches.
