This has been on my radar for ages now, I love the clever construction and of course the pockets. My gauge is a bit off so I’m going with a tiny risk here, hopefully I’ll get a lovely gardican. I think this pattern won’t mind if I do lose weight, it looks great in more positive ease as well.

I really, really love this one! The pattern is clever but easy enough to be tv knitting. I did the easy version with a minor mod: mine is a bit longer than in the pattern. Size is is perfect and will fit even if (when) I lose weight. A perfect every day cardi that goes with everything. I’ll definately knit a another one as well.

gauge before washing: 23 sts and 31 rows with 3,75 mm needles and 18 sts and 30 rows after washing.

Feb 27th: argh, when will I learn to actually read the directions? Probably never. So ribbed all I had knitted so far and started over.

March 9th: Yoke is done. I’m loving this already (although I’m having issues with reading comprehension..).

March 11th: cast on for first sleeve. yay.

March 17th: First sleeve is done and second started.

March 21st: Cruising along, both sleeves are ready and body is on it’s way. The construction is so clever.

Dec 5th: This was hibernating all spring, summer and fall byt now it’s back in action!
