I’m thinking of modifying this into a cardi with short sleeves. No idea will my idea work but at least I’m going to try! I’m also knitting this top-down since I probably need to modify the yoke because I’ve so big boobs. This will be my nakniswemodo #2.

Feb 21th: Yoke is done! Yay!

March 6th: It’s all done!

March 10th: I need to frog the yoke, my owls are too unique. They look something between seamonsters and elfs.

March 13th: It’s done! Again! :D But this time for real, now it has buttons and owls have eyes.

Converting this into a cardi knitted top-down was way easier that I had hoped for. I simple knitted the pattern backwards (increased when it said to decrease). I added 14 sts as button bands and knitted them in garter stitch. I moved the back decreases to the sides since they wouldn’t admire me a lot in the back. I love this! I used pearls for the eyes instead of buttons.
