08/21/13 This is going to be so fun, I can hardly wait. I’m using the basic pattern but changing it up to suit my needs :). Cast on and through third repeat of lace.

I used this pattern as my lace template. I had to change a few stitch counts to make things specifically the way I wanted. I cast on the same number as the pattern states and then had to decrease one on the last row before I started the lace chart. I did 5 lace repeats. On each row I took out a stitch at the beginning and end of each repeat and had 4 reverse stockinette stitches between each repeat. I did 4 repeats plus the first four rows of the heart pattern. Then I increased 1 so that I would have the correct number of stitches to complete the eyelets.

08/25/13 Mainly finished, just need to attach the adorable heart shaped pom poms :)
