I LOVE the shaping in this sweater, it is so sweet and has a lovely vintage feel. I think it’s going to be really dramatic in this colorway. I think it’s my current signature color.

07/16/12 Cast on and completed 1.5” of collar.

07/18/12 Finished collar ready to start set up for raglan increases.

07/31/12 Finally sat down and finished the raglan increases tonight, I can hardly wait to divide the sleeves and get the body of this cardigan started.

08/03/12 Had a chance today to divide the body from the sleeves.

08/06/12 Worked on the body to the point where the back “gather” and pleating starts. I’m so excited for this sweater to be finished!

08/09/12 completed the pleat increases.

09/24/12 picking this up again finally, 3” left until the pockets. (Note: If you want this closer to the prototype figure out how to start the pockets about 8 rows sooner, or the bottom edge is quite a bit wider than the prototype).

10/13/12 Woo hoo finally starting the pockets today!

10/15/12 Finished the triangular shaped decorative bobble stitch section on the back pleats, just need to finish through the pockets. I’m starting to see the end of the tunnel, and I’m starting to get way excited to finish this and wear it! I adore the little bubble pockets on this sweater, so cute!

10/20/12 Completed pockets and linings, just need to bind off then I’m done with the body!

01/23/13 Geeze how did I forget how close I really was to being done with this? Picked up again and finished bottom edge, and finished first sleeve.

01/24/13 Finished second sleeve, just need to finish the crochet edge and button holes. I can’t believe this is almost finished, it’s going to be so pretty when it’s done.

01/25/13 Finshed edge and sewed on buttons. Will set out to block tomorrow.
