I think out of most hats I’ve seen that were supposed to mimic the pattern of Hermione’s hat when she and Harry visit Godric’s Hollow, this one that isn’t supposed to replicate that hat, reminds me most of her hat.

01/14/12 Cast on and through five repeats. I’m thrilled with the yarn/color I chose. It wasn’t what I thought I wanted to use initially, but it jumped out at me when I was stash diving. The yarn reminds me a lot of the Malabrigo worsted base.

01/15/12 Through 15 repeats, I love the dense fabric the stitch pattern is making.
