I did not do the extended brim option - just the regular 2” one as shown in the photo. I used larger needles than the pattern called for to allow for my gauge when knitting in the round (I tend to have to go up a couple of needle sizes). The Shibui Birch yarn is SO soft that you might want to make it a point to use lotion to keep dry skin from snagging the yarn. It’s worth it in the end!
