I knit this shawl with two 70-gram evolutions and about 18 grams of a coordinate skein matching the green end. I did 11 repeats of the Grail Lace and 4 repeats of the Water Lace, finishing with an elastic lace bind-off. If I had it to do over, I would do 13 repeats of the Grail Lace and 2-3 of the Water Lace.
The yarn I used for this project came from Twisted Fiber Art. Twisted shut down due to the pandemic, but its daughter company, Fairy Godmother Dyeworks, opened in the spring of 2023. This particular yarn is currently available by subscription in a surprise colorway each month. You can order shipments every month, every 2 months, or every 3 months.
The Glam subscription comes as 125 grams, which is enough to make this shawl with a few adjustments to the number of repeats. For a similar look to this project, I would try 9 or 11 repeats of the Grail Lace and 2 or 3 of the Water Lace. Weigh your yarn between repeats to check how much you have left.

I cast on for this project ages ago, probably in 2018. I’m finally picking it up agin and I’m excited to complete it!
I have 2 small evolutions (70g/250 yards each) and a small coordinate (50g/180y) that matches the green end. I’ve started with the green end of one evolution. Once I get to the end of that cake, I’ll start from the red end of the second evolution and end with the green coordinate.
Having looked at some project notes, I think I will want either 9 or 11 repeats of the Grail Lace (small lace). I want to do 2 repeats of the Water Lace (large lace). I think I’ll do the first large lace repeat with 4 mm needles and the second with 4.5 mm.

Finished 11 repeats of Grail Lace. I had to start the second evolution skein during row 2 of the Water Lace.

After row 6 of the first Water Lace repeat, I switched from 3.75 mm needles (US 5) to 4 mm needles (US 6).
After completing the first Water Lace repeat, I switched from 4 mm (US 6) needles to 4.5 mm (US 7) needles.
Finished row 4 of second Water Lace repeat

I think I’m going to have enough yarn for at least one more repeat of the Water Lace. I definitely want to end with the Water Lace in green because I think it looks like Christmas trees!
Finished row 7 of third repeat of Water Lace.

I finished the second evolution cake and started the green coordinate in row 1 of the fourth Water Lace repeat.
Finished row 9 of the fourth Water Lace repeat

I switched from 4.5 mm needles (US 7) to 5 mm needles (US 8) for the last 2 rows and bind-off.
