I’m using a worsted weight yarn instead of bulky, so I’m working with 3.75 mm needles (started with 4.5 mm but the fabric wasn’t dense enough and finished size would have been too big) and loosely following the directions for the larger size in the hopes that I’ll end up blocking this to 13.5” x 30.5.“ My stitch counts will match the larger size but my measurements will match the smaller size.

As if that weren’t enough, I’m attempting to do just one pillow that has HOME on one side and LOVE on the other. Here’s the plan:

1. cast on for larger size
2. after garter stitch piece, I’ll work in stockinette for 1.5.“
3. work 0.5” of border box before and after HOME chart
4. 5” of stockinette
5. work 0.5” of border box before and after LOVE chart
6. 1.5” of stockinette
7. button tab
