joining Liesl in her monthly sock challenge

this is my December pair ~ my fourth month

I purchased this yarn with an etsy gift card I won when Liesl picked my name for her first giveaway ~ of course I used it for sock yarn and after spending a week or so looking, I settled on this perfect colorway for the holidays (thanks so much, Liesl!)

my first self-striping yarn and my first socks on my first set of metal DP’s…hoping I love them but I’m skeptical…I love my wooden needles but I can’t afford to replace them when I keep breaking the tiny ones!
(after using…I’d prefer metal needles without the brass tips…by the second sock the little bit of ‘catch’ I was feeling at the join every. single. stitch. was driving me crazy!!)
