Notes

With smaller needle, CO 64 and K1, P1 for 1”.

Switched to larger needle and with tan yarn, K1fb, K1, P1, K2, P1… to 32nd stitch, K1fb, K1, P1, K2, P1… to end of row. This increased the stitch count to 66 which allows for the pattern of K2, P1.

Every row thereafter, K2, P1… until piece is 5 1/2” from CO edge.

Not as stretchy as the 1X1 Rib Beanie, so barely fits my head. Since the pattern is a 3 stitch repeat, maybe another 6 stitches would be appropriate for an adult size hat.
