K A L with a group of italian ravellers plus the designer of the shawl. It’s been a great experience! Knitting the same pattern with other ladies. I’ve learned a lot!
-
I substitude the yo at the beginning and at the end of each row with M1, to avoid the holes.

I have changed the border using feather and fan stich but, I think I should have used a 6 repetition instead of 4, I’ll do it next time…
it’s blocking, I’ll add better photos tomorrow
wow it looks like some of you really like it and you want to know what I did on the border, thanks a lot for your interest.
here we go:
I’m not sure when, I mean at which row but, at the end of the holes (row 95) I went on for some extras rows of stockinette until I had 204 stiches (102 sts half shawl) on the needles, at this point I started the feather and fan stich
you need a multiple of 12+4 sts, if you don’t have enough sts, in my case 102:12= (8x12)+6 I had 6 extras sts which I distributed 3sts at the beginning of the needle and 3 stsat the end of the feather and fan stich
K2 M1 K3, {k2tog, k2tog, yo, k4times, k2tog k2tog} rep the {} 8 times K4 M1
k2
M1 K4 {k2tog, k2tog, yo, k4times, k2tog k2tog} rep the {} 8 times K3 M1 K2
Anyway you could you use a different feather and fan, to obtein a more curved effect
{k2tog, k2tog, k2tog, yo, k6times, k2tog k2tog k2tog}
that’s what I’ll do next time
