The color of this lovely yarn is a beautiful sunflower yellow, not the color that is uploaded. As I progress, I will get better pictures on a sunny day.

January 16, all holiday knitting and crocheting is done so I’m back to working on these lovely socks. Three rounds completed.

January 24 - sock #1 done! In hindsight, I should have cast on a few more stitches (maybe 68 instead of my usual 64). With 24 stitches making up the cabling pattern, the sock is a bit snug, but certainly wearable.

Yup, should have cast on 72 stitches. They are lovely socks, snuggly warm.
