I like that this pattern had twisted ribbing (k1tbl, p1) on the cuff as well for about an inch in the ankle area. Perhaps they will stay on those little feet for a half-hour or so. ;)

The pattern was easy, although you need to know your way around sock construction as the designer does not go into detail on how many rows to do for the heel flap, picking up along the sides of the flap, turning the heel, or toe decrease. This was’t a problem for me as have knitted plenty of socks. A sock newbie, however, would be lost.
