I’m really excited about these mittens, and looking forward to finding more good charts to crochet into them.

The Ultra Alpaca was great for this pattern, but following the size for the women’s mittens these still came out too small for my small, adult hands. Next time I’ll have to add more stitches.

I followed the Mrs. Murdock’s pattern quite closely for these, with the following modifications: I started the cuffs with 13 ch, working 12 sc across for 31 rows; and I started the 15 row chart shown above immediately after the row that creates the thumb.
