Some people may respond well to the colours of this Noro Kureyon, but I have to confess -- they’re really not my thing. (I named this hat after a popular Grateful Dead song, ‘cause the colours remind me of that whole tie-dyed, space relation dancin’, Ben & Jerry’s lickin’ scene ;^).) I enjoyed making the hat, as I always enjoy this pattern (so relaxing!), so I’ll just put it away ‘til I find the appropriate free spirit to give it to.

Note to self: if I make this hat in the Kureyon again, use a 5 mm hook to loosen the fabric up slightly. Also start with 57 chain (working down to 40 stitches) instead of 55.
