I saw a finished scarf made from this pattern on the shelf at Black Sheep Yarns in Port Moody, and was really taken with it. It’s a little bit fiddly to make, especially with the knotty, twisty Silk Garden Sock yarn, but it’s been worth it. The pattern is quite different from other crochet scarfs I’ve seen, and I love how the variegated yarn striped up.

If I made this scarf again, I’d try adding another row of SC on top of each arch. The single row of SC the current pattern calls for feels just slightly flimsy, and I’m wondering how the scarf will hold up over time.
