I bought an old knitting machine from eBay many years ago but knew nothing about it. Two months ago I started learning how to get it working, I taught myself by following the instructions and watching many videos on youtube.

This is my first attempt at a knitting machine jumper. I picked up the lace stitches by hand. It took 2 evenings to finish all the pieces. I don’t have a ribber machine so I started with a mock rib pattern and I knitted around the neck by hand. The result is just right. It fitted perfectly.
