Early in the morning …. Currently 20” into this one, and boy is it pretty! Dara sure did good with the color choices on this! I plan on crocheting a lot on this today, so may get close to finished, who knows!
But - According to a chart I pulled up on Pinterest, a throw should be in the range of 52x60. So next time I make a “throw” for someone, I need to do a base stitch of at least 160. Maybe 170-175. This one will be okay once I add a border to it, but it should have been a bit bigger than it is.

I got a new iphone as an early Christmas present, as I am going in for surgery in the morning and my Christmas weekend is going to be very minimal movement effort. Can you see the quality difference in the photos? The yarn in the basket was taken with my iphone 6. The next picture was taken with my new Iphone 8Plus. Nice!

This is the final Christmas present for 2017. I had surgery last week, so Cherelle will have to come here so it can be delivered to her. I wish I could take a more accurate picture of the colors. The picture of the yarns in the basket is probably the closest color-wise, including the darkest color (a green teal), unfortunately it’s a bit blurry. For the border, I did a couple of rows of FPDC, then finally decided on bobbles on the ends and FPTC on the sides to bring it all together. I think I would have been happier doing the FPTC all the way around, I like how that turned out, but I had started/stopped/frogged so many times already I was just ready to be done.
ILTY washes up so soft, and I just love these colors together!
