VCFC Stashbuster Swap
I requested dark colors only, with the idea to join in Fisherman. However, beige actually looks better.

NOTES: I added a round of sc in the joining color, picking up the front post, for a little added interest.

Round 6: Work entire round in back loop only - sc around in joining color, picking up FPHDC. (72 stitches)

Round 7: Work entire round in back loop only - TR, DC, 2HDC, then 10SC, then 2HDC, DC, TR, chain 3 for corner stitch (72 stitches plus corners)

Round 8: Except for the corners, work entire round in back loop only - 5 sc in each corner, sc in 18 stitches across (88 stitches plus corner stitch)

Join: Slip stitch in back.

Completed square = 8 inches

Note: 1 skein beige squares up 7 circles = 9-10? skeins of beige plus border (I think I might whip up 8 more circles for my own blanket so it will be rectangle, not squared)

Final blue border is Edie Eckman’s #26, herringbone.
