This is one of my “overcomer” blankets. I will be making afghans, and while making them I will pray over them, before delivering them I will have them anointed and prayed over by others.
What this is all about has been written in some detail on my blog.

Tunisian Simple Stitch
Tunisian Purl
Tunisian Honeycomb (pattern called for 18 rows, but the first two called for 20 rows, and I had to bring this up to 20 rows to get 7”)
Tunisian Rib This square is larger than the others. Will go down a hook size for the rest of these.
ETA: I did a Tunisian Rib with a hook one size smaller, plus made it 27 stitches/20 rows (as opposed to pattern instructions), and it became the correct size of 7 in x 7 in.
Shells & Stripes (Leisure Arts “Panel by Panel Afghan p.29)
Tunisian Popcorn Pattern calls for 25 base stitches, this is not wide enough. It needs to be the same as the other patterns - 27 stitches. Add 1 on each row before first bobble (i.e. 5 TSS, then ch-3 then 4 TSS then ch-3 etc; alternating row of 3 TSS, then ch-3 then 4 TSS then ch-3, etc). As on the other sampler squares, 20 rows.
Note: One skein = About 5 squares.
Joined with a front slip stitch.
NOTE: When it’s time to add your base single crochet around the outer edge of your joined afghan, don’t forget to go down 2 hook sizes. I crocheted my Tunisian portion with a K hook. I started my border with a J hook and had to frog and use an I hook instead. It’s still not perfect, but that may be because my base SC row was done with a J hook. Not entirely sure, this is still new to me.

Unfortunately Chad recently had a house fire, and lost everything, including this afghan.
