This is a lesson in how not to do fairisle! The pattern is good, the technique is good, but the colour combination is dreadful. A total waste of time. I wanted to do the fairisle band from one ball of multicoloured cotton and I thought there would be enough contrast between the that and the pink, but there wasn’t.
I’m going to try it again as I like the pattern, but just using pink and white.
