The cotton for the dress is quite thick. So I cast on 84st, k2 rows pink, 2 rows aqua, 2 rows lilac. St st 4 rows, then did a row of Small hearts ( total 16rows) Knit across one row, then decreased after every 8 st on the return purl row, to lessen the bulk. I decreased another 3 on the next purl row to bring it down to 72 st.

The mane is made from kidsilk in pink and lilac and a white fluffy yarn with a silver thread through it that I found in my stash.

Having made one unicorn, I had some ribbon left over, so I decided to make another one. This one has a light pink nose and inner ears
