C2C is always quick and easy for me. I really like the results of this yarn. For me this is the first time doing fringe, it came out looking beautiful.
When growing the length of the scarf I did not sl st over the 3 st as the directions say.
All I did was change the “Slip st across first 3 dc” to a ch 3
So Row 2 of “Growing Scarf” would be;
2. Ch 3 * (slip st, ch 3, 3 dc) all in next ch-3 space of previous row; repeat from to last ch-3 space.
This made it the same on each side with a ch 3, 3 horizontal dc up the side edges. It is so much easier and looks much better in my opinion.
For the border I did a sc around the entire scarf then did a (sk 1, 4dc in same st, sk 1, sc) shell stitch along each side and sc across the ends
