3/3/2012: I’m starting to experiment to see if I understand the pattern. I’m just using a small ball of yarn left over from my first knitted neck scarf.

18/3/2012: I started making the proper version using the Sean Sheep wool on Saturday. Loving how it’s going so far.

I have changed the stitches for the edging increases.

15/4/2012: It’s growing. This has turned into a really great meditative project. I haven’t tended to it a great deal but I’m still enjoying it.

The only thing bugging me with this project is the yarn I’m using gets really twisted, but that’s fine.

I was crocheting this while I was hanging out with my sister over the Easter weekend and she was VERY interested in who I intended to give it to. :)

26/6/2012: I finished this puppy while watching TV really early on Saturday morning. Upon reflection the tricky parts of crocheting this thing, for me, has been the ‘clusters’ in the pattern, but once I worked them out it was smooth crocheting from there.
