I made this shawl because I often find my back gets colder than the rest of me and I needed something I could quickly throw on when I needed some warmth.
It was very therapeutic to have a simple project to knit while I watched television.
The shawl was knit from the bottom up. It is knit in stockinette stitch with a 5 stitch garter border at the sides and an 8 row garter stitch border at the top.
To add some spice to this make I did an I-cord bind off (my first) and added a tassel to the bottom.
I used a 110cm cable needle to knit this puppy and I still had heaps of room before I bound off.
My favourite part is definitely the swishy tassel. :)

Increase/purl rows are wrong side
Made a tassel and attached it using the method found here www.purlbee.com/the-purl-bee/2014/4/27/lauras-loop-colorblock-bias-blanket.html
Changes
-I’d make the Kfb a couple of stitches into the increase row. e.g. K2,Kfb, K1, P….
-I’d try to make it shorter and wider next time by increasing every row and see how it turns out.
