This was quick. But not as quick as I’d wanted it to be. I don’t normally use such large needles and purling was a chalange on size 17. At first I was so glad that I already had size 17 circulars. But it was 32” and not 16”. No worries I thought. I’ll use magic loop. Ha! The cable connecting these needles were so twisted and it was not easy. So I had to order 16” circulars after all. And wouldn’t you know, this is not easy to find! I finally did though.

About this project. A friend of mine living in Atlanta saw it on Instagram and emmediately messaged me saying “I can use this!” I said “no problem” and went about fulfilling this request. I don’t get requests that often and as knitters you know how exciting it is when the person making the request knows exactly what she wants. Ready, set go. Now all I have to do is mail it and hope she gets it before the holidays.

Also, I have never knitted with Rasta before. What a treat! I don’t usually go above regular bulky yarn for my needs. But never say never.
