Ivy’s dream horse would be “maroon with a curly mixed pinks mane.”

Following the instructions of this pattern as written, it has short rows and ear holes, and I can slowly see it taking the shape of a head. The pattern is well written.

Hubby decided to help with the project by making a wooden head to hold the dowel. We used foam around the wood for padding.

The mane was made with braids, knit curls, and strands of yarn.

Ear picture is true to color of yarn - a deep maroon.
